Michael Diamond is a business consultant, entrepreneur and investor as well as an active philanthropist. A graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business as well as Osgoode Hall Law School, Michael was President and CEO of Minicom Data Corporation, one of Canada’s fastest growing software companies through the 80’s and early 90’s. After the company was acquired, Michael evolved into his current role as advisor, mentor, Board member and investor, primarily in the technology world. He sits on the Board of Whitecastle Investments Limited, as well as Real Matters Inc. and 4Tell Inc. He is also an advisor to a number of other technology companies. In his non-profit work, Michael is on the Board of Leave Out Violence (“LOVE”) Ontario, on the Board of international LOVE organization, is involved as well on various committees of UJA Federation of Greater Toronto and of the Centre for Jewish and Israel Affairs. He lives in Toronto and Uxbridge, is married with 3 sons.
